~snow~
All I can think about this Monday evening is how grateful and blessed I am. I don’t think “blessings” are reserved for those chosen few who appear to make no mistakes but rather a matter of perspective.
I am humbled and blessed by God’s mercy in my life every time I take the time to open my eyes.
Apparently, the sequin ball I made was the prize possession of the night.
My five year old, whom you can see across the way happily sipping her Coke, nonchalantly, but oh so seriously said,
“Mom, when you’re old and dead, can that be mine?”
I am humbled by the gratefulness I see coming from my kids.
I could stop a t stockings and I think they would be happy.
A candy necklace would suffice.Of course, they won’t turn down a DS but
I think the “Pink Pencil” eraser is a close second!CHRISTMAS MORNING SNOW!
Abby recently said,
“You know, I’ve decided I could kill somebody for Emma
without thinking twice about it.”My reply,
“I KNOW!!!”Happy New Year!

your posts are always very meaningful….
love the old and dead comment too! kids can say things that just make you feel so cherished! ;O)
happy tuesday!
What wonderful pictures….I’m so glad you were able to have snow on Christmas….I can’t imagine 36 years without snow on Christmas as I have always lived in the midwest… the sledding pictures were so much fun. I love that they were so anxious to get out to play in it that they were still in their pj’s. You have a lovely family. I also would love to come sit in front of your fireplace.
that looks like fun! The problem here is when it finally snows no one has anything to use to play on it
I too like your sequin ornament…might have to steal that idea for next year. did you use just a Styrofoam ball? Was it hard to get the pins in?
Your pictures really tell the story. What a sweet, twinkly, at home time with Christmas. Stockings are one of our favorite times, even with grown up kids.
I made a ball like that eons ago when I was a girl. Funny how your picture brought it all back. The comment from your daughter is priceless.
Snow on Christmas morning! I see the joy!
Love all the pics. My hubs is a camo man too. He can’t wait for our daughter to be old enough to camo her up and take her out hunting. She already owned 2 shotguns before she was even born. *sigh* I’m not a girly girl but camo on my little girl…um…we’ll see.
I love a good christmas morning snow!
You’re kiddo’s are beautiful!
all such fun wonderful pics! you capture real life so well. i like the shots of brad playing w/ the kids. you’re right. AMEN! to daddy’s who play w/ their kids. what a blessing. like the one too of all you guys!! such a pretty family. which, thanks so much for the christmas card!! loved it. and those boots!!! are those your uggs. i can’t remember right off my head right now, but i’m thinking you’re the one who said something on my christmas memory post about the grey sweater uggs!!??? right? well.. i’m slightly jealous. i’ve wanted some for years, but the closest i’ve ever got are the generic payless version.
love ya girl. & happy new year!
